My recent stay at Auberge Du Blaisel left my family and me in awe of the serene beauty that envelops this charming farmstead. Situated near Boulogne, we found the location to be ideal for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. The cozy family room provided ample space for relaxation, though a faint musty smell lingered, hardly a deterrent given the comfort of the beds.We were pleasantly surprised by the range of family-friendly activities available on-site. The children were enthralled by the diverse birdlife in the farmyard, adding a touch of wonder to our countryside walks post-supper. The shared kitchen and in-room tea/coffee facilities were a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home.A definite highlight of our stay was the superbly cooked evening meal, showcasing the best of French farmhouse cuisine with homegrown ingredients. The generosity of portions stood out, ensuring no one left the table unsatisfied. The attentive hosts, despite the language barrier, catered to our every need, making us feel like cherished guests. We look forward to returning to savor more of the farm-to-table delights and create lasting memories in this idyllic setting.
